The foot party scene in San Francisco has a long and rich history. In 1996, John and Tim, of KINK Video fame,
turned over the New York FootFriends parties to Alan Pratt, moved to San Francisco and got parties going in
LA & SF. The private party house they found in SF is to this day one of the best foot party spaces we’ve
ever had anywhere!
John & Tim built the party scene on the West Coast for several years while Alan expanded the New York
parties into a weekly event. The success of KINK Video required John & Tim’s full attention, and the LA/SF
parties were put on hold.
In the summer of 2001, Alan resurrected the LA parties, and launched parties in London. A year later, we
celebrated our 1st anniversary in LA and got the parties going again in that same great house in San Francisco,
under the direction of Keith, who has kept them going strong ever since, now with fellow host and promoter Tom.
The San Francisco foot parties have been their own sole entity (pun intended) for many years now, and the
FootFriends party network will continue to support this strong and long-running event. We thank Keith and Tom
for their ongoing commitment to the community, and we applaud the success of these parties.
