In 1996, John and Tim, of KINK Video, turned the New York FootFriends parties
over to Alan Pratt, moved to San Francisco and established parties in Los Angeles and SF.
For the next couple of years, John & Tim built the party scene on the West Coast while
Alan Pratt expanded the New York parties into a weekly event. The success of KINK Video required
John & Tim’s full attention, and the LA/SF parties were put on hold.
In the summer of 2001, Alan resurrected the LA parties and launched parties in London. A year later, FootFriends celebrated
our 1st anniversary at the Centaur Club in LA, and resurrected the parties in San Francisco, which
have been going strong ever since.
The Centaur closed in ‘03, and our most recent parties in LA
were at The Faultline in Silverlake in 2004. In 2008, an LA art gallery hosted an amazing week-long
“Foot Arts Fest”, so the scene is alive in LA!
Our LA foot buds deserve a regular rockin’ foot party,
and FootFriends is coming back for more, bigger & better!
