Between April and October of this year, FootFriends hosted 10 parties
in 3 venues in Fort Lauderdale, but we did not generate enough of a turnout
to continue. We tried two different private beach resorts and then secured
a FREE weekly party in a popular bar, but never got more than 25 guys
– this is neither enough to hold a party space nor to justify the
advertising and online marketing such a party requires.
Fort Lauderdale/Miami is an excellent location for foot parties because
of the solid gay population, its history of parties, and because it’s
a major vacation destination. So we’ll be back. And of course, we
wish the best to all men who continue to build the foot loving community
in South Florida and around the world.
